Education is one of the fundamental rights of human beings but unfortunately poor children are deprived of this right. Only when each child is educated, we can create a level playing field for our future generations.

One day, we saw some kids begging at a traffic signal. Small innocent eyes, baby fingers, gullible minors. What would their future be? When most children are able to enjoy life, get good education & learn the values to become wonderful individuals, these lesser privileged street children are easily persuaded to earn for the family. They are made to beg for their basic necessities of food, clothing & shelter. School for them remains a fantasy and they are exposed to all sorts of dangers on the roads. We knew that most of these children won’t be allowed to go to school as they would be under their family’s pressure to earn. So, if they couldn’t go to school we decided to bring the school to them. This is when we started Save The Quest Mobile School. We started this initiative from R. K. Puram, Sector 4 Rain Basera, Delhi, and then branched out to teach other kids in the nearby area. Currently, STQ mobile school has taken the responsibility to educate more than 50 students enrolled with it and provide them with books, play materials and refreshments. Our effort bore impressive results. In less than one year, we have managed to decrease the begging rate in this area by 80% and in the coming years we aim to take the STQ Mobile School to different parts of the city.

  • QUEST PUBLIC SCHOOL

Every human being needs oxygen to survive in the world. Education is as important as this because education gives people the knowledge and skills they require. Education is important to people of all ages and it has no limit. It is important because it is used to mitigate most of the challenges faced in life. The knowledge that is attained through education helps open doors to a lot of opportunities for better prospects in life. Education shapes a person’s mindset so it is very important to expose individuals to the right kind of education since childhood. Children can be molded into good and responsible citizens through education.

In order to create a level playing for all children to attain education, we started the Quest Public School. The QUEST Public School, Bihar is an initiative under project RTE which is run by save the Quest. The project aims at educating rural India.
Under this project we are running three schools in different villages of Bihar. We started our first School on July 30th 2015.  Later in 2016, we started two more schools in Bihar.
The school provides free stationary, books and notebooks along
with education to all the kids. It also focuses on promoting education for girls by admitting a higher number of girl students.

  • Project Lal Batti

The focus of the project is on street children who beg on red lights and flyover. We are running the project every Saturday and Sunday. We work among these children under the Street Children Education Project with support of volunteers. We provide them with free education, educational materials, and play materials. The volunteers are mainly focusing on the ways needed for the upliftment of these children. They are taught general knowledge, etiquette/norms and manners while talking, sitting, moving, eating, reading, speaking etc. We accomplish this with the help of the class teacher and the volunteers
